“We’re all just walking one another home.”
~Ram Dass
Trina Reid, LSUDC, is a Case Manager at Red Willow Counseling & Recovery. She recently earned her Substance Use Disorder Counselor (SUDC) license and is currently continuing her education at Salt Lake Community College, where she is working toward her Associate of Social Work degree with plans to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work.
Trina brings both professional training and lived experience in recovery to her work with clients. Her personal recovery journey has given her a deep understanding of the challenges individuals face when navigating substance use, mental health concerns, and life transitions. She is passionate about helping clients identify their strengths, build recovery capital, and develop practical tools that support long-term success.
Prior to joining Red Willow, Trina worked in residential treatment and recovery support services, where she gained experience facilitating groups, providing peer support, assisting with case management, and helping clients connect with community resources. She believes in meeting people where they are, building authentic relationships, and creating a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel supported and empowered.
Outside of work, Trina enjoys spending time with family, attending recovery meetings, staying active, and cheering on her nephews at their sporting events. She is committed to helping others discover that recovery is possible and that meaningful change can happen one day at a time.
