About McCall Izatt
After a short stint in non-profit fundraising, I earned a Master of Social Work degree and a Graduate Certificate in Women’s Health from the University of Utah in 2015. I fell in love with therapy and have worked as a therapist since that time. My internships included the LGBTQ Resource Center as well as the Women’s Resource Center, where I studied feminist-multicultural approaches to trauma recovery. I have worked in residential and outpatient settings, university settings, and community mental health. In addition to working with clients at Red Willow, I facilitate a body image group.
I believe therapy is a place to explore and expand ourselves. Even the parts of us filled with despair, fear, doubt, and other painful aspects of being a person. Through brave curiosity and deeply engaging with your experience, I will work with you to achieve a greater sense of clarity, intuition, and self-acceptance.
