I received my Masters in Social Work at the University of Utah. I have worked several years in residential, day treatment, and intensive outpatient treatment programs. Working with both individuals and families. I have helped clients struggling with addictions, trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, relational issues, gender/sexual identity, and spiritual confusion. I enjoy doing inner child work to help heal the inner child with various traumas. I use a variety of therapeutic modalities including but not limited to: cognitive behavioral, mindfulness, and experiential. An environment of safety is created in which we can facilitate. I have overcome my own personal challenges throughout my life and have greater empathy towards those that I work with. I like to help others see their own strengthens and have greater self-compassion and learn to believe in themselves.
When I am not at work I enjoy spending time at the beach, crabbing, fishing, traveling, camping, and spending time with my family.
